On Monday, February 23rd, a group of sophomore and junior students went on the first ever guidance sponsored College Exposure trip to Southeast Community College in Milford. There, the students were able to tour the campus and learn about a number of career programs in the industrial / technical area. The students seemed especially excited about the opportunities they saw in robotics, ND (nondestructive testing), and the various industry sponsored auto and diesel programs – like John Deere, Ford, GM, and Chrysler. Mrs. Hernandez plans to continue these trips and take small groups of students out to visit various colleges and other post secondary training programs each quarter.
