Congratulations to the following medal winners last Saturday at the Elkhorn Band Olympics Solo and Ensemble Competition for 9th and 10th graders.
Jayden Hunter won the 5th Place Medal in 9th grade Alto Saxophone Solos.
LIzzy Pace won the Silver Medal in 10th grade Alto Sax Solos,
and Savannah Lukasiewicz was the Gold Medalist in the Baritone Saxophone Solo Division.
Congratulations to our Wrestling State qualifiers Tyler Curtis (10), Ronnie Albertson (12) and Joe Garcia (11). Wish them luck at the State meet this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the CenturyLink Center.

Our 100th-day celebration was STEM-based and students built using 100 coins, cups, dominoes and other objects! Students had fun with different art activities, songs, and a 100th-day snack! We are 100 days brighter here at Fort Calhoun!
Some students even dressed up as if they were 100 years old!
Congratulations to our students who participated in the BOCH Festival at UNO on January 28th.
Senior Kloey Appel completed a 6-foot tall painting that she began working on during the first semester. This is the first of many paintings that will adorn the Pioneer Path hallway. The plan is for students to showcase their creativity and artistic talents by creating paintings that are based on school and community activities. Next year, Kloey plans to attend Washburn University in Topeka Kansas to study psychology.
The Fort Calhoun Cheerleaders competed at Skutt January 21st. They had a flawless routine! They won the Class C Title and brought home a big trophy along with a great experience!
