Friday’s breakfast: Frudel

***Freshman – Please respond to the request for a second career pathways screenshot that Mrs. Hernandez sent out last Sunday.  Some of you need to resend that screenshot ASAP.

***Seniors – Mrs. Hernandez emailed out a list of HOT scholarships that are due this weekend until mid March.  Please review that list today so you don’t miss out on any of the opportunities. Also don’t forget we are less than two weeks away from the deadline for the local comprehensive scholarship application that is due by 3:30 pm on Wednesday, February 25th.

***Jrs and Seniors – remember TODAY is the work session with MCC on scholarships – if you are involved you have a pass in your email sometime between periods 2-5.

***Jrs and Srs who are considering MCC – tomorrow is the Walter Scott Scholarship session during homeroom. If you indicated interest or it applies to you – you have a pass in your email for this info session. If the session conflicts with the green dot program – you NEED to report to the scholarship session NOT the green dot program.

***Congratulations to our Scholastic Writing winners! Zoey Coontz, Kenzie Simpson, Aiden Tinkham, and Kebra Willis all received Honorable Mentions. Connor Holmstedt received six Honorable Mentions and two Silver Keys! Great job to our Pioneer writers!

*** There will be a High School Track meeting tomorrow after announcements in the New Gym, for those wanting to participate in track this Spring.

***Do you have a talent..perhaps a unique talent…that you’ve always wanted to put on stage and share with the world?  The Variety Show is the place to do that.  “Variety” is the idea and we’ve had everything from trained rabbits to glow-in-the-dark numb chuck demonstrations to stand up comedy, along with some great dance and musical acts.  The show is at the end of next month so get your act planned and sign up in the band room or find a Band Officer.  In the fine tradition of Coach Meyer, Coach Smith, Mrs. Boeka and Mrs. Triplett, Mr. Bentley and many others including of course Dr. Johnson,…faculty are encouraged to share their perhaps “unknown talents” as well; the community will love it!   PERFORMANCE DATES ARE MARCH 28 AND MARCH 29.
