American Rescue Plan Information
Under the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act of 2021, the United States Department of Education (USED) will make awards to State educational agencies (SEAs) to help schools safely reopen, sustain healthy operations, and address significant academic, social, emotional, and mental health needs of their students as the country continues to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
In regards to ESSER funds, Fort Calhoun Community Schools application has been approved for $235,903. This particular grant has a three year duration with all funds used by September 30, 2024. In regards to these particular funds, all monies must be utilized to assist with the mitigation of COVID-19, or the loss of learning with our students. Based on stakeholder input via survery and community forums, FCCS has created a plan for using the funds. The plan for use of funds can be accessed by clicking HERE.
