Summer Food Program Feeds Kids for Free

The Summer Food Service Program provides free meals to all children under 18 years at participating sites statewide. There are no income requirements or registration.  Use the following tool to find an SFSP site near you:
  1. Access USDA’s SFSP site locator map at: https://www.fns.usda.gov/summerfoodrocks
Put Fort Calhoun Nebraska in the search box, and extend the area to 20 miles.  A list of sites in the area will appear.  To get directions and hours of operation for each site, click on it.

This institution is an equal opportunity provider.

Biology Class Dissect Trout

The Biology students teamed up with The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission and participated in the Trout in the Classroom project this year.  As a part of the project, Biology students were given fresh trout to dissect as an extension to our curriculum.  They learned about the external and internal features of a trout before the dissection.  Each year, this dissection is the highlight of biology!

Football Gridiron Golf Scramble Fundraiser

Golf Fundraiser to benefit our Football team, June 7th

We would love to have you and your family/friends join us for a great day of golfing. The registration form is a Google Doc, which you can copy and fill out to return back to Coach Byrd, or you can email him the information. They are about half full right now so if you’d like to join, please let him know your information soon. Feel free to share with anyone you know who might be interested.
We’ll also be having the players sell raffle tickets for our various raffle prizes. If you’re not a golfer but would still like to support us you can purchase some raffle tickets as you do not need to be in attendance to purchase/win the raffle prizes. See the flyer below for all the details.
We hope to see you on June 7th and I hope you have a great end of the school year, we’re almost there!
